Most days our family of seven is a hot mess in need of a whole lot of grace.  We live on paper plates, we are loud, we are not pretty, we are in various stages of manners mastery, and we explode wherever we go.  BUT, we are a redeemed mess, learning never to judge those whose lives we haven’t lived, seeing young lives changed forever, and by faith sold out for a future we can’t yet see.   We do the hard work of orphan care.

However God has asked you to play a part in what Scripture defines as true religion, it is imperative that you truly know what God’s Word has to say about this job.  He is passionate about these kids and our calling to parent them, and offers rich blessing in His Word to keep us alive and even JOYFUL during the journey.   You need a tribe to do this life well, the fellowship of other Believers who get why you do this, and the confidence that God has got your back, too.
